India FinTech Forum organized the 10th edition of the India FinTech Awards (IFTA) 2025. The event was held on December 10, 2025, at Aurika by Lemon Tree Hotels, Mumbai International Airport, Mumbai.
IFTA is the most prestigious recognition platform for India’s fintech ecosystem. This year’s theme was AI Agents in Fintech: Risks and Opportunities. The event brought together policymakers, financial institutions, technology firms, investors, and fintech innovators to discuss how AI is reshaping banking, payments, lending, and investment.
The event received over 1,500 applications from companies across payments, lending, compliance, insurance, and wealth management. It was supported by AMFI, State Bank of India, and Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL).

Industry Leadership and Keynotes
The event featured keynote addresses from senior leaders across banking and capital markets, including representatives from State Bank of India, Bandhan AMC, National Stock Exchange of India, and ICCL. Discussions covered digital infrastructure, regulatory priorities, and the growing role of technology in strengthening financial systems.
AI in Fintech
This year’s central theme explored how AI agents are transforming financial services, including real-time decisioning, automated compliance, fraud prevention, and digital onboarding. Leaders shared perspectives on both the opportunities AI presents and the risks that need to be managed responsibly.
Fintech Olympiad IFTA 2025 also hosted the 3rd edition of the Fintech Olympiad, a national initiative to build financial and digital literacy. This year, over 70,000 students from more than 4,000 colleges across India participated. Around 120 students were shortlisted through 10 online and 21 regional rounds before the National Finals were held in Mumbai.
Mentor Chronicles Launch India FinTech Forum announced the launch of Mentor Chronicles Fintech Edition at IFTA 2025. It is a structured digital mentorship series for early-stage fintech founders, covering product development, compliance, and market challenges across payments, lending, wealthtech, insurtech, and regtech.
