GST OTP comes to the rescue of a major transport aggregator of India

PROBLEM FACED

Our client operates a nationwide Live Transport Marketplace App that allows users to book trucks and trailers for logistics and supply chain needs. However, truck drivers and customers found it difficult to book and upload profiles or pricing information. The platform is struggling to verify the legitimacy of the transported goods, which increases the risk of misuse.

SOLUTION PROVIDED

To solve this issue, we offered a suite of verification APIs according to the client’s needs. The primary requirement was a foolproof, fast, reliable way to verify shipments and the people involved:

GST OTP Verification

The GST OTP Verification process adds a strong layer of security. As OTP is only sent to the registered mobile or email linked to the GST account. It confirms that only the registered business owner can approve the shipment. This helps prevent the use of the platform for illegal consignments.

ID Verification

The ID verification API confirms that the drivers on the platforms are genuine. It helps in accurate verification and reduce the risk of fraud.

RC (Registration Certification) Verification

The automated RC verification confirms that the vehicle is registered under a valid owner. It ensures that no unauthorized or stolen vehicles are operating through the platform.

Driving License (DL) Verification

We provided DL Verification APIs to verify that the truck driver has a legitimate, active, and valid license making sure only qualified drivers operate through the platform.

RESULTS

Our client operates on a national scale. Their services mustn’t be misused. We are aware of the potential risks that our client could face. It is crucial that the drivers, as well as their vehicles, are verified. It is also essential that the customer who uses these services has a legitimate business and is verified using the GST OTP process. For that, we customized our APIs according to clients’ needs and used real-time KYC and OCR technology to make the process smooth, fast, and risk-free.
